Amanda spent the majority of her younger years along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Florida and is thrilled to have relocated to Panama City since August of 2018. She is married and together they have a blended family of 10 and 1 grandson with the hope of many more grandchildren.
She earned her Nursing Diploma at St Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in Lafayette, Indiana in 1998. She spent her early career in Pensacola, Florida, Oklahoma, and Georgia. From 2003 to 2018, she lived in Indiana and was a nurse in Labor and Delivery. During this time, she returned to school and graduated with her Master’s degree in Nursing in 2010 from Indiana University. She practiced as a Nurse Practitioner from 2010 to 2014 at Healthnet in Indianapolis, IN. She is certified through NCC as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She quickly realized that she missed the miracle of birth and could not wait to help women through this process again. She returned to school and received her Post Master’s in Midwifery from University of Indianapolis in Indiana in 2013 and has practiced as a certified nurse-midwife since 2014.
